Admission into the program will be made by the UH Graduate Division in conjunction with the UHM Outreach College and the TIRM Certificate Program Admissions Committee. Each application is evaluated based on the following criteria.
At a minimum each applicant must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University and a minimum GPA of 3.0
- A TOEFL score of 600+ in addition to minimum GPA of 3.0 (for international applicants only)
- Statement of background, interest and purpose: Prospective candidates are required to prepare a three paragraph statement of their background (including job description), goals and interest in telecommunications and information resource management and a statement of purpose that explains the applicant’s reasons for seeking admittance to the TIRM Program
Tuition and Fees
The cost of the program is to be announced. This includes the five courses, registration, all administrative and program fees, classroom materials, and use of University library services. Some restrictions may apply. For more information, please contact the TIRM Program at tirm@uhtasi.org.

Application Process for TIRM Graduate Certificate
This program accepts applications from both current degree-seeking graduate students at UHM and prospective students interested in the Graduate Certificate and upper division course credits.
If you are a current degree-seeking graduate student at UHM, you need to consult directly with TIRM Graduate Certificate Program. If the program approves your admission, the director will notify the Graduate Records Office of your admission.
If you are a prospective UHM graduate student (both resident and non-resident), please apply through the Graduate Admissions by December 19, 2014 and follow standard application procedures.
Please inform the TIRM Graduate Certificate Program of your intent to apply by email (tirm@uhtasi.org) so to ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner.

If you are a prospective UHM student (both resident and non-resident) with related work experience, but no educational credentials please apply through the UHM Outreach College by Friday, December 19, 2014 and follow standard application procedures.
